At Premier Shooting and Training, we understand that one of the most important parts of our members and clients experiences is their interactions and partnerships with our team members. We know that we’ve put together a team, from the top down, which is best suited to meet our clients’ needs. Our staff is experienced, knowledgeable and ready to assist anyone who walks through our doors. Our instructors are highly trained in their fields and are among the best in their industry. General Manager James Lentz at PSTCJames Lentz (Jim), General Manager
Jim has over 20 years of experience in martial arts, self-defense and personal training in addition to private investigative and security fields. Jim is a certified NRA Instructor. Jim has attended and is certified in numerous specialty schools, only a few listed below: NRA Certified Firearms Instructor – CCW (Conceal Carry Weapons) Instructor Kenpo Jiu Jitsu Instructor 2nd Degree Black Belt (Nidan) Shootfighting Instructor (Kiha-Go) Hojutsu 1st degree Black Belt (Shodan) Lecturer for Women’s Self Defense Programs Extensive Wrestling and Military Combatives Knowledge Jim served 6 years in the U.S Marine Corps Reserve as a Military Policeman. He attended the University of Cincinnati majoring in criminal justice.

Armed Training Director Phil ChaneyPhil Chaney, Armed Training Director
Phil is a retired Marine Chief Warrant Officer 3 and decorated combat veteran with over 25 years of specialized training and instruction.  Phil brings a unique blend of both combat experience and formal special skills instructor qualifications. Phil served as a Special Missions Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Instructor for 1St Special Operations Training Group (SOTG), responsible for training Marine Force Recon in Surgical Shooting, Close Quarters Battle and Close Combat.  He was later hand selected to be Chief Instructor for the Close Quarters Battle section, MCSF, responsible for training all Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Teams (FAST) in CQB and created the course curriculum for the Advanced Urban Combat course. Phil’s operational experience includes several combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia.  Phil’s commendations include: Bronze Star w/ “Valor” device (OEF), Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal w/ “Valor” device (OIF), Meritorious Service Medal (OIF), Navy /Marine Corps commendation Medal. Phil is currently The Director of Training for the Ohio Tactical Officers Association (OTOA), and serves as a State Certified Defensive Tactics, Firearms and SWAT Instructor. In addition, Phil is an adjunct instructor for Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) for Basic SWAT and Advanced SWAT courses for the State. Phil has been instrumental in the development and instruction of the new State Basic and Advanced SWAT Schools as well as the Single Officer Response to Active Threats (SORAT) curriculum development. Operations Manager at PSTCStan Worthington, Operations Manager
Stan is a former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret). As a member of 7th Group (ABN) he was trained and qualified as a Combat Diver, Demolitions, Survival, Urban Guerrilla Warfare (UGW)/Counter Terrorism. After Special Forces, Stan was a state Trooper with the Indianan State Police. He was a member of the State Police Area 5 SWAT and EOD units. In 1981 Stan was selected as the Law Enforcement officer of the Year for the state of Indiana. Prior to joining the team at Premier Shooting and Training Center, he was a college professor and Dean of Criminal Justice. Currently, Stan is the Operations Manager for Premier Shooting and Training Center of West Chester Ohio. In addition to those duties he teaches classes in survival and disaster preparedness.

Jim Hardman, 88-Tactical Instructor
  Twenty - eight years of experience with a diverse background in Communications, Patrol Operations, Tactical Operations and Training Fifteen years of leadership experience, supervising others under high stress, dynamic circumstances Municipal police officer for 25 years working Patrol Operations, Tactical team and Search Warrant units “Plank Owner” of collateral tactical unit comprising four agencies, started as entry team member retired as Team Leader and Chief Tactics Instructor Ohio Basic Peace officer training cadre at college academy and criminal justice program specializing in Firearms, Defensive Tactics and Active Threat Response for fourteen years Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Adjunct Instructor specializing in Firearms, Active Threat Response, Basic/Advanced SWAT tactics and Defensive Tactics for twelve years Co-Author for State of Ohio Single Officer Response to Active Threat (SORAT) program Subject Matter Expert in Basic SWAT and Active Threat Response Train the Trainer for Nationally recognized programs, RAIDER, LASER, ALERRT and SORAT. Jim served in U.S. Army for 3 years. Vietnam Service (1970 -1973) Jim has been teaching martial arts to adults and children for 17 years Jim began teaching private lessons in 1995 Jim trained under Master Mark Tracy, son of The Great Grandmaster Al Tracy (the head of the Tracy System of Kenpo) Jim has been awarded Shodan- 1st Degree Black Belt (1999) Jim was awarded Sandan-3rd Degree Black Belt (2010)

Sean Sutton - Martial Arts Instructor at PSTCSean Sutton, Martial Arts Instructor
Former Marine Sergeant, Sean Sutton’s love for martial arts started as far back as his first class in 1994.  His time with the Marine’s took him to a multitude of countries around the world and exposed him to martial arts at their source.  During his military career he had the good fortune and honor to train in Hawaii under Guro Burton Richardson, the Founder of JKD Unlimited. After diligent and dedicated training, Sean Sutton earned the Instructor rank in multiple modules under the JKD Unlimited parentage. Mr. Sutton has served as the Advanced MMA and BJJ coach for the UFC Gym from October 2014 – July 2015 and is currently the Head Coach for High Performance MMA and Premier Competition Team.
